Paralegal
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Lyons, Colorado. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse legal matters, supporting attorneys in case preparation and trial proceedings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and discovery, along with excellent organizational and research skills.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct thorough legal research to gather relevant case facts and information.<br>• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings.<br>• Organize, review, and manage case documents, including electronic discovery.<br>• Draft and format legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and subpoenas.<br>• Coordinate and handle court filings, including electronic submissions and service of process.<br>• Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and witness statements to support case strategy.<br>• Prepare trial binders, exhibit lists, and other materials required for court.<br>• Monitor case deadlines and maintain accurate calendars to ensure compliance.<br>• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to schedule meetings and gather information.<br>• Provide logistical and document management support during trial proceedings.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in civil litigation.<br>• Proficiency in managing discovery processes and e-filing court documents.<br>• Strong knowledge of case management software and organizational tools.<br>• Ability to draft and review legal documents with attention to detail.<br>• Familiarity with trial preparation, including creating exhibit lists and summaries.<br>• Excellent legal research skills and the ability to analyze case facts effectively.<br>• Strong communication skills to interact with clients, witnesses, and legal professionals.<br>• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
