The IP Specialist ideally will have 3 plus years of patent prosecution experience or 3 plus years of working at a high volume law firm with a very busy caseload. The IP Specialist must have exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, a team-oriented and positive attitude, the ability to quickly learn new skills, superior oral and written communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Intellectual property experience is highly preferred as well as work experience that demonstrates the ability to meet the skills previously mentioned is required. • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in intellectual property.<br>• Strong knowledge of U.S. patent law and procedures, including provisional, utility, design, and PCT applications.<br>• Proficiency in managing legal calendars and tracking deadlines effectively.<br>• Experience conducting patentability searches and interpreting results.<br>• Ability to draft and review patent documents with attention to detail.<br>• Familiarity with patent prosecution processes and compliance requirements.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication skills.<br>• Proficiency in legal research and administrative tools.
