Real Estate Paralegal
<p>Robert Half is seeking an experienced <strong>Real Estate Paralegal</strong> to join our team on a short-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong real estate experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Onsite in Lyndhurst, New Jersey – Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM</p><p> <strong>Contract Duration:</strong> 2 months (with potential for extension or temp-to-perm arrangement)</p><p><strong>Pay:</strong> $30+/hour (depending on experience)</p><p><strong>Start Date</strong>: Monday, January 12th</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Contract Management:</strong> </li><li>Handle end-to-end residential real estate transactions</li><li>Review, revise, and finalize contracts, coordinate attorney modifications</li><li>Track key dates (mortgage commitments, deposits, etc.)</li><li><strong>Client Communication:</strong> </li><li>Provide proactive updates and support via phone and email</li><li>Answer client questions and assist with negotiations/credits</li><li><strong>Title & Closing Process:</strong> </li><li>Review title binder and summarize requirements for attorney</li><li>Prepare, proofread, and assemble closing documents</li><li>Ensure all documentation is ready for seamless closings</li><li><strong>Commercial Transactions:</strong> </li><li>Liaise with attorneys representing lenders</li><li>Compile and communicate requirements for closing</li><li><strong>Additional Duties:</strong> </li><li>Occasional work on wills and basic litigation support</li><li>Drafting, proofing, and typing legal documents</li><li>Calendar management for meetings and closings</li></ul><p><br></p><p>📩 <strong>Apply now for immediate consideration!</strong></p><p><br></p>
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate transactions, preferably at the paralegal level.<br>• Proficiency in handling residential and commercial real estate processes.<br>• Strong typing and proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in documentation.<br>• Ability to understand and utilize legal terminology effectively.<br>• Experience with drafting and assembling closing documents.<br>• Familiarity with managing timelines and following up on transaction milestones.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication skills.<br>• Competence in using computer systems and software for legal documentation and scheduling.
