We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing invoice processing, coding, and payment execution. Responsibilities: • Process invoices accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies. • Verify and code invoices for proper accounting and tracking purposes. • Prepare and execute check runs to meet payment deadlines. • Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions. • Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments. • Monitor and reconcile accounts payable reports to ensure accuracy. • Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable. • Communicate with internal departments to address invoice or payment-related inquiries. • Support continuous improvement efforts within the accounts payable process.

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Strong knowledge of invoice processing and coding practices. • Familiarity with preparing and executing check runs. • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams. • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.
