Logistics Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join our team in Long Beach, California. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes within a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering the opportunity for long-term growth.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.<br>• Perform accurate data entry tasks, managing high volumes of information with precision.<br>• Create and maintain shipping documentation, including labels and invoices.<br>• Collaborate with warehouse staff to oversee inventory levels and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Utilize computer systems to track shipments and update records.<br>• Operate warehouse equipment as needed to support logistics operations.<br>• Communicate with vendors and carriers to schedule deliveries and address issues.<br>• Assist with communication in a multilingual work environment when necessary.<br>• Adapt to multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Previous experience in a shipping and receiving environment is required.<br>• Strong computer skills with proficiency in data entry and record-keeping.<br>• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.<br>• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and procedures is preferred.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication skills.<br>• Bilingual skills are highly desirable.<br>• Knowledge of logistics and shipping documentation processes.<br>• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy.
