We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Leawood, Kansas. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities: • Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion. • Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect all financial transactions. • Prepare and post journal entries to support financial reporting. • Reconcile accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial records. • Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies. • Collaborate with other teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. • Prepare financial reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

• Proven experience in accounting, specifically in month-end close processes. • Strong knowledge of general ledger and journal entries. • Proficiency in account reconciliation and bank reconciliation procedures. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Familiarity with accounting software and tools. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
