Financial Analyst
<p>We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Olathe, Kansas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting business operations through detailed financial analysis, strategic planning, and collaboration across departments. This position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic organization within the manufacturing industry.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning processes to ensure alignment with company goals.</p><p>• Develop and refine financial models and analyses to guide decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.</p><p>• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and other key stakeholders to align financial strategies with business performance.</p><p>• Identify opportunities for process improvements, focusing on automation and standardization of financial tools.</p><p>• Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to business leaders, challenging assumptions when needed.</p><p>• Create and maintain dashboards and analytics to monitor performance metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.</p><p>• Conduct in-depth analysis of key operational metrics, such as labor utilization and shipping efficiency, to optimize processes.</p><p>• Design scenario models to evaluate the impact of business decisions and strategic initiatives.</p><p>• Prepare monthly financial reports with detailed variance analysis and forward-looking recommendations.</p><p>• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with company standards</p>
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.<br>• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis or operations finance, preferably within manufacturing or distribution environments.<br>• Proficiency in analyzing large data sets and translating findings into actionable insights.<br>• Advanced expertise in Excel, including financial modeling and complex formulas.<br>• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.<br>• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.<br>• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data effectively to diverse audiences.<br>• Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and drive alignment between financial and operational goals.
