Senior Accountant
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Juno Beach, Florida. This role requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls, ensuring the integrity of corporate financial data. You will take a leadership role in analyzing complex issues, offering recommendations, and implementing solutions while guiding other team members.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead research, analysis, and reporting on financial matters, providing actionable recommendations and implementing solutions.<br>• Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and company policies while maintaining adherence to relevant regulations.<br>• Prepare accurate financial reports and schedules to reflect the company's financial health in a timely manner.<br>• Develop and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all accounts.<br>• Implement and maintain internal controls to uphold the integrity of corporate financial data.<br>• Oversee special projects, including the validation and execution of plans related to business units and expense accounts.<br>• Provide mentorship and direction to team members, fostering collaboration and growth.<br>• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless onboarding and adherence to financial procedures.<br>• Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support business decision-making and operational improvements.<br>• Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to address inquiries and ensure clarity in financial matters.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.<br>• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience with a focus on attention to detail.<br>• Strong understanding of GAAP standards and corporate financial practices.<br>• Proven ability to prepare accurate financial reports and journal entries independently.<br>• Excellent oral and written communication skills.<br>• Experience with internal controls and compliance procedures.<br>• CPA certification or Master's degree in Accounting is highly preferred.<br>• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate with diverse teams.
