We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a contract position suited for individuals with strong expertise in cash handling, billing, and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing accounts receivable functions and ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts receivable processes, including tracking and reconciling outstanding payments. • Apply cash payments accurately and efficiently to the correct accounts. • Post cash transactions and maintain detailed records in accounting systems. • Prepare and organize bank deposits to ensure proper handling of funds. • Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and resolve payment issues. • Utilize accounting and ERP systems, such as Sage 300, for day-to-day operations. • Generate reports to analyze accounts receivable performance and identify areas for improvement. • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. • Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and records.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles. • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, including Sage 300. • Strong understanding of cash applications, billing, and financial processes. • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external clients.
