We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic work environment while ensuring the smooth execution of financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing accounts payable processes and demonstrate proficiency in coding invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities: • Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Review and code invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures. • Prepare and execute Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and check runs. • Reconcile discrepancies by working closely with vendors and internal teams. • Maintain organized and accurate financial records for auditing purposes. • Monitor and resolve issues related to account coding and payment processing. • Collaborate with the accounting team to improve operational efficiency. • Assist in implementing best practices for accounts payable processes. • Generate periodic reports related to accounts payable activities. • Support other finance-related tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

• Proven experience in accounts payable or related financial roles. • Strong knowledge of account coding and invoice processing. • Proficiency in handling ACH payments and check runs. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively. • Familiarity with accounting software and tools. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. • Strong communication skills for liaising with vendors and team members.
