<p>We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term impact within a large organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and prepaid accounts.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Handle intercompany accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.</p><p>• Manage and record fixed asset transactions, maintaining detailed schedules and reconciliations.</p><p>• Oversee prepaid accounts, including tracking and reconciling balances.</p><p>• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.</p><p>• Maintain the general ledger by reviewing and analyzing financial data.</p><p>• Prepare and execute detailed bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash balances.</p><p>• Analyze financial information and provide insights to support decision-making.</p><p>• Assist with audits and regulatory compliance by providing required documentation and reports.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and workflows.</p><p>• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.</p>

• Proven experience in month-end close activities and financial reporting.<br>• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entries.<br>• Proficiency in account and bank reconciliations.<br>• Expertise in intercompany accounting and fixed asset management.<br>• Familiarity with prepaid account tracking and reconciliation.<br>• Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
