HR Generalist
We are looking for a bilingual HR Generalist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This entry-level role is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about employee relations and human resources. As this is a Contract-to-permanent position, it offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the construction industry.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits, timekeeping, and other HR-related matters.<br>• Maintain accurate employee records through data entry and ensure compliance with company policies.<br>• Provide support in managing employee relations, including addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.<br>• Facilitate communication between employees and management, ensuring a clear understanding of workplace policies.<br>• Handle tasks related to FMLA and other leave policies while ensuring adherence to legal requirements.<br>• Conduct clerical and administrative duties to support the HR department's daily operations.<br>• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.<br>• Deliver bilingual support to employees, addressing their needs in both English and Spanish.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with strong communication skills.<br>• Basic understanding of employee benefits and HR compliance practices.<br>• Familiarity with handling FMLA and other leave-related policies.<br>• Experience in employee relations, including addressing concerns and resolving issues.<br>• Strong organizational and data entry skills with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.<br>• Previous HR or clerical experience in the construction industry is a plus.
