We are looking for a skilled Data Reporting Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis and business intelligence to deliver actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. This is a long-term contract position within the retail industry, offering an opportunity to work on impactful projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design and develop comprehensive dashboards and reports to track key metrics and performance indicators.<br>• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that drive business decisions.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.<br>• Utilize business intelligence tools to optimize reporting processes and enhance data visualization.<br>• Conduct data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of information.<br>• Partner with IT and other departments to integrate data across systems and ensure alignment.<br>• Present findings and recommendations to leadership, supporting strategic initiatives.<br>• Stay updated on industry tools and technologies to improve data reporting practices.<br>• Support ad hoc analysis and provide insights for immediate business needs.<br>• Maintain documentation for reporting processes and methodologies to ensure consistency.

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL and BusinessObjects Technologies.<br>• Strong expertise in data analysis and business intelligence tools.<br>• Experience with data modeling and visualization tools such as Erwin Data.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Power Query and pivot tables.<br>• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to diverse audiences.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.<br>• 5-7 years of experience in a data analytics or reporting role.<br>• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
