Bilingual, English/Spanish, Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a dedicated and bilingual English/Spanish Customer Service Representative to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will assist patients and healthcare providers by streamlining benefit eligibility processes and supporting revenue recovery efforts for uninsured or underinsured individuals. Your ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish will be essential to providing exceptional service and ensuring accurate information exchange.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Serve as a key point of contact for patients, guiding them through benefit eligibility processes and addressing inquiries.<br>• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to ensure clear understanding and accurate information sharing.<br>• Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather necessary documentation and verify patient details.<br>• Utilize systems and tools to assess eligibility for benefits and assist in the application process.<br>• Resolve concerns and provide timely updates to patients regarding their benefit status.<br>• Support hospitals in recovering revenue by helping patients access the resources they need.<br>• Maintain detailed records of interactions and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.<br>• Work independently and as part of a team to meet service goals and deadlines.<br>• Adapt communication style to cater to diverse patient needs and cultural backgrounds.<br>• Uphold confidentiality standards and follow organizational policies to maintain trust and integrity.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, including the ability to conduct business conversations and write professionally.<br>• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare or a related field.<br>• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on empathy and active listening.<br>• Ability to work with sensitive information while maintaining strict confidentiality.<br>• Proficiency in using computer systems and software to manage records and applications.<br>• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.<br>• Familiarity with benefit eligibility processes or healthcare services is a plus.<br>• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and service standards.
