We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join a construction company based in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will handle key accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy and supporting business operations. Responsibilities:• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for review.• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.• Perform account reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy.• Support job costing activities to track project expenses and profitability.• Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate compensation.• Assist in the development and management of budgets and forecasts.• Provide financial data analysis to aid in decision-making.• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting procedures and systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Ability to travel locally to client sites with reliable transportation. • Strong proficiency in preparing financial statements and handling AP/AR. • Skilled in account reconciliation and payroll management. • Experience with job costing and budgeting processes. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities. • Knowledge of accounting software and tools.
