We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team on a contract basis in Hollywood, California. This role involves managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, reconciliation, and collections. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative approach to a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee and maintain an accurate and up-to-date billing system to ensure timely invoicing. • Generate and distribute invoices to customers, ensuring payments are processed efficiently. • Handle credit card transactions and prepare bank deposits with attention to accuracy. • Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records. • Conduct detailed reviews of payments received and apply them promptly to customer accounts. • Investigate and address payment issues, chargebacks, or return discrepancies in coordination with relevant teams. • Manage collections for overdue accounts, escalating cases as necessary to senior finance staff. • Create and deliver monthly accounts receivable metrics and aging reports to leadership. • Contribute to month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. • Develop and implement best practices for accounts receivable procedures, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

• Demonstrated expertise in accounts receivable processes, including billing and collections. • Strong communication and organizational skills, with an emphasis on customer service. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with QuickBooks is a plus. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, ideally within the fashion or retail industry. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution. • Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in all tasks. • Ability to work independently, managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Self-motivated and adaptable team player with a commitment to productivity and collaboration.
