<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Heath, Ohio. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and reconciliations.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial reports.</p><p>• Manage and maintain the general ledger, verifying entries and resolving discrepancies.</p><p>• Prepare and post journal entries to support financial transactions and adjustments.</p><p>• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.</p><p>• Conduct detailed bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving variances.</p><p>• Analyze financial data to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting-related inquiries and issues.</p><p>• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation to support compliance efforts.</p><p>• Implement and maintain accounting controls to safeguard financial integrity.</p><p>• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance accounting processes and procedures.</p>

<p>• Proven experience in month-end close processes, including financial reporting.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and reconciliation practices.</p><p>• Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries.</p><p>• Expertise in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.</p><p>• Hands-on experience with bank reconciliation processes.</p><p>• Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.</p><p>• Familiarity with accounting standards and compliance requirements.</p><p>• Excellent organizational and communication skills to work effectively with teams.</p><p><br></p>
