Collections Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Hartford, Wisconsin. In this role, you will manage and oversee collection processes for both commercial and consumer accounts while ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to effectively handle credit and billing collections.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Handle collection activities for commercial and consumer accounts, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.<br>• Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and account statuses.<br>• Review and analyze accounts for overdue payments and initiate appropriate actions.<br>• Communicate professionally with customers to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and ensure seamless billing and collection processes.<br>• Utilize Epicor or similar systems to manage and track collection activities.<br>• Prepare regular reports on collection outcomes and account statuses.<br>• Monitor compliance with company policies and legal regulations related to collections.<br>• Provide recommendations to improve collection strategies and minimize outstanding balances.
• Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections.<br>• Strong knowledge of credit and billing collection processes.<br>• Proficiency in using Epicor or similar systems for tracking and managing collections.<br>• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.<br>• Ability to analyze account data and identify actionable steps.<br>• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple accounts and deadlines.<br>• Familiarity with legal regulations related to collections.<br>• High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
