We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team in Golden Valley, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our organization while collaborating closely with HR and Finance teams. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment in the real estate industry. Responsibilities:• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 400 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.• Manage bonus and commission payments, including calculating and verifying amounts.• Handle multi-state payroll transactions using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.• Execute payroll-related journal entries and cash reconciliations after processing.• Collaborate with HR to track employee changes and ensure proper payroll adjustments.• Allocate payroll expenses to specific properties using Yardi software, ensuring accurate accounting.• Prepare detailed payroll reports and provide insights to support financial decisions.• Stay updated on relevant payroll regulations, including MN Paid Leave requirements.• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll experience, including full-cycle payroll processing. • Proven expertise in handling multi-state payroll operations. • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now for payroll management. • Ability to process payroll for organizations with over 500 employees. • Familiarity with accounting software, such as Yardi, for payroll allocations. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills in payroll and accounting tasks. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with HR and Finance teams. • Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
