We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a Contract-to-Permanent basis in Golden, Colorado. This role offers the opportunity to manage a wide range of accounting operations, including payroll, financial reporting, and budgeting activities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing accounting and intercompany transactions, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of all financial processes. Responsibilities:• Manage monthly close processes, ensuring timely completion by the 15th of each month.• Document and maintain detailed accounting procedures and workflows.• Handle operational accounting tasks, including accounts payable and payroll for approximately 19 employees.• Prepare financial reports and collaborate with budget managers on budgeting and forecasting activities.• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and other financial records.• Oversee intercompany transactions and provide support for subsidiary creation.• Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.• Support financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.• Perform general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy.• Provide insights and recommendations to improve accounting processes and reporting.

• Proven experience in accounting roles within manufacturing environments. • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger management. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and ability to adapt to other accounting systems. • Experience with intercompany transactions and subsidiary accounting. • Ability to handle payroll operations for small to medium-sized teams. • Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. • Skilled in bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries. • Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
