Payroll Manager
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage payroll operations for a large-scale organization based in Glen Allen, Virginia. This long-term contract position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in handling multi-state payroll for over 500 employees while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The successful candidate will lead a team and play a critical role in maintaining smooth payroll processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee full-cycle payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing for all employees.<br>• Manage payroll procedures across multiple states, adhering to local and federal compliance requirements.<br>• Supervise and provide leadership to a team of payroll specialists, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.<br>• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll systems and resolve any issues that arise.<br>• Ensure proper handling of payroll for over 500 employees, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Address and resolve compliance issues, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve payroll processes and systems.<br>• Prepare and analyze payroll reports to support organizational decision-making.<br>• Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.<br>• Provide support and guidance to church-based entities served by the organization.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience managing payroll operations in a leadership capacity.<br>• Proficiency in handling full-cycle payroll processes for multi-state organizations.<br>• Demonstrated ability to manage payroll for over 500 employees with precision and efficiency.<br>• Strong expertise in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll management.<br>• Solid understanding of compliance requirements related to payroll and tax regulations.<br>• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage and mentor a team.<br>• Ability to analyze payroll data and generate reports for decision-making.<br>• Knowledge or experience working with church-based entities is a plus.
