Position Overview: ControllerWe’re seeking a hands-on, results-driven Manufacturing Controller to lead our accounting operations and drive financial performance across our production and distribution footprint. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and understands the financial heartbeat of manufacturing. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead the Accounting Function: Oversee all aspects of accounting including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, credit & collections, and tax compliance (income, sales, property).</li><li>Own the Close Process: Drive a disciplined, repeatable month-end close and deliver timely, accurate financial statements and reporting across business units.</li><li>Partner with Operations: Collaborate with production, supply chain, and other departments to analyze cost variances, streamline processes, and deliver actionable financial insights.</li><li>Optimize Systems & Processes: Continuously improve accounting workflows with a focus on automation, accuracy, and scalability to support growth and operational excellence.</li><li>Audit & Compliance: Manage external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls, tax filings, and financial reporting standards.</li><li>Global Coordination: Work with international affiliates to align accounting practices and manage intercompany transactions and eliminations.</li><li>Team Leadership: Set clear goals, mentor accounting staff, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.</li></ul>

Qualifications<ul><li>Proven ability to lead accounting in a manufacturing or multi-site environment.</li><li>CPA or MBA desired </li><li>Minimum 2 years in public accounting (audit focus preferred).</li><li>Strong command of GAAP, cost accounting, inventory controls, and financial systems.</li><li>Experience implementing accounting infrastructure and IT solutions to support growth.</li><li>SAP and Excel proficiency; Google Suite familiarity a plus.</li><li>Skilled in managing intercompany transactions and federal contract compliance.</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills.</li></ul> Education & Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting (MBA preferred).</li><li>10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in public accounting or senior audit roles.</li><li>Experience with multi-state operations, distribution, and government contracts (GSA) is highly desirable</li></ul>
