We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is a contract position ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and has a strong background in financial processes and reporting. The role involves managing key accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and collaborating with internal teams to support organizational goals. Responsibilities:• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to uphold financial accuracy.• Complete journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all financial activities.• Review and approve invoices in compliance with company policies.• Utilize SAP software to manage and analyze accounting data effectively.• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on financial processes.• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure timely reporting.• Provide recommendations for improving financial processes and efficiencies.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles. • Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. • Strong understanding of journal entry processes and financial documentation. • Hands-on experience using SAP software for accounting tasks. • Ability to review and approve invoices accurately and efficiently. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. • Knowledge of accounting principles and compliance standards.
