We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Folsom, California. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations, including month-end close processes and reconciliations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical accounting skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic project needs. Responsibilities: • Manage month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring consistency and compliance with accounting standards. • Prepare and post journal entries, supporting accurate financial documentation. • Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data. • Conduct daily and bank reconciliations to monitor and resolve discrepancies. • Oversee data migration processes, ensuring proper setup of starting balances. • Track timekeeping and vacation data for accurate project accounting. • Collaborate on technical aspects of accounting such as chart of accounts management. • Support migration activities and ensure smooth transitions for fiscal year reporting. • Assist in reorganizing financial data to align with project-specific requirements.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related roles. • Proficiency in month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations. • Strong understanding of general ledger functions and financial reporting. • Experience with bank and account reconciliation processes. • Familiarity with data migration and reorganization activities. • High-level technical accounting skills, including chart of accounts management. • Ability to track timekeeping and vacations for accurate project allocation. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
