Key Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple entities with different year-ends. • Manage financials for both government contracts (milestone-based billing, compliance-driven) and commercial operations (manufacturing cost accounting). • Prepare intercompany reconciliations and consolidated financial reporting. • Support implementation of Epicor ERP upgrade and help migrate accounting processes from QuickBooks to Epicor for government and commercial divisions. • Develop and maintain customized financial and forecasting reports to support leadership decision-making. • Monitor milestone-based payments and ensure accurate job costing. • Collaborate with management to identify inefficiencies and implement creative accounting solutions. • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, DCAA (if applicable), and tax reporting requirements. • Support audits, tax filings, and government reporting. ________________________________________ Qualifications: • Proven bookkeeping/accounting experience with multi-entity organizations (S-Corp, C-Corp, LLCs). • Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and/or prior ERP implementation. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and transition experience to larger ERP systems. • Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting (job costing, overhead allocation, WIP tracking). • Understanding of government contract accounting requirements (FAR/DCAA compliance a plus). • Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills — ability to design and build custom reporting tools (Excel, BI tools, or ERP reports). • Strong forecasting and budgeting experience. • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growing environment with multiple stakeholders. ________________________________________ Preferred Traits: • Creative thinker with a “solutions first” mindset. • Comfortable working across both high-compliance government contracts and dynamic commercial manufacturing. • Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally with leadership, production, and compliance teams. • Detail-oriented but capable of big-picture financial analysis. ________________________________________
