Part Time Office Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated Part Time Office Assistant to join our team in Fairfax, Virginia. This is a contract position requiring an attentive and organized individual who can provide support across multiple tasks. The role involves working onsite Monday through Friday with consistent scheduling and occasional travel between office locations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet employees and visitors at the front office, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.<br>• Provide assistance to staff with a variety of administrative tasks, including scheduling, organizing files, and inventory management.<br>• Travel between office locations as needed, requiring reliable transportation.<br>• Maintain office supplies by monitoring inventory and restocking as necessary.<br>• Operate and load the dishwasher to ensure a clean and organized workspace.<br>• Answer and manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately.<br>• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word and Outlook.<br>• Assist in organizing and maintaining office files to ensure accessibility.<br>• Build strong relationships through clear communication and empathy.<br>• Adapt to changing situations and take ownership of problems to find effective solutions.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of office experience in a detail-oriented setting.<br>• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees and visitors.<br>• Reliable transportation to travel between office locations as needed.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Outlook.<br>• Ability to manage multi-line phone systems and perform accurate data entry.<br>• Positive and goal-oriented demeanor with adaptability to fast-paced environments.<br>• Appropriate attire suitable for a business setting.<br>• Customer service experience, ideally 1+ years, with a focus on relationship building and problem-solving.
