We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Everett, Washington. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and analyzing financial transactions while addressing disputes and monitoring fraud. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial services industry with a focus on regulatory compliance and fraud prevention.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Investigate and resolve disputes related to card transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.<br>• Monitor fraud activities and implement measures to mitigate risks effectively.<br>• Perform detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and maintain accurate records.<br>• Collaborate with team members on ad hoc projects to address operational challenges.<br>• Ensure adherence to Reg E requirements in all dispute resolution processes.<br>• Provide insights and recommendations to improve fraud detection and prevention systems.<br>• Support the preparation of reports and documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.<br>• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.<br>• Leverage expertise in card fraud to identify patterns and implement preventive strategies.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, specifically in fraud monitoring and dispute resolution.<br>• Proficiency in handling card fraud cases and ensuring compliance with Reg E regulations.<br>• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed financial investigations.<br>• Demonstrated ability to resolve disputes efficiently and professionally.<br>• Knowledge of fraud prevention tools and strategies.<br>• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and reporting findings.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Familiarity with financial compliance standards and regulations.
