Tax Preparer
<p>Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team in Englewood, CO. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent client service, and the ability to work independently while meeting critical deadlines. This role is fully onsite with a semi flexible schedule. </p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities</li><li>Gather and analyze client financial data and documentation to ensure complete and accurate filings</li><li>Advise clients on tax planning opportunities and potential liabilities</li><li>Keep up to date with changing tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance</li><li>Respond to inquiries from clients and tax authorities, providing timely and professional communication</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information</li><li>Maintain organized records of all tax-related documents and correspondence</li><li>Assist with additional accounting duties during peak seasons as needed</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred</li><li>Two or more years of tax preparation experience (individual and business returns)</li><li>Proficiency with tax preparation software (such as ProSeries, Lacerte, or similar)</li><li>Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax codes</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills</li><li>Strong communication and client service skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines</li><li>PTIN registration and/or CPA or Enrolled Agent designation is a plus</li></ul><p><br></p>
