<p>Our East Bay client is seeking a NetSuite Systems Engineer to enhance and maintain financial systems across our organization. This role is perfect for an individual with deep expertise in NetSuite ERP and accounting processes, coupled with technical prowess in automation and custom solutions. You’ll work closely with the Finance team to streamline operations, ensure compliance, and integrate NetSuite with platforms like Coupa, Zip, and Concur. Key responsibilities include system administration (roles, permissions, access controls), hands-on development, and troubleshooting integrations. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a solutions-driven mindset, we’d love to hear from you!</p><p> </p><p>This is a contract role to start, and can be remote - but the client's preference would be some onsite days in the Emeryville, CA office or other office locations throughout the U.S.</p><p> </p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Configure and customize NetSuite to align with business processes like AR, AP, and General Ledger.</li><li>Architect scalable solutions that integrate NetSuite with upstream/downstream systems (e.g., billing, expense management).</li><li>Develop SuiteScripts and other integrations to enhance automation.</li><li>Ensure compliance with SOX, GAAP, and audit standards.</li><li>Troubleshoot system issues and maintain seamless performance during upgrades.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally for system testing and smooth rollouts.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.</li><li>7+ years of experience with NetSuite ERP, ARM, and related systems.</li><li>Hands-on expertise in NetSuite configuration, SuiteScript development, and system integrations.</li><li>Strong understanding of financial close processes and change management.</li><li>NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation) are a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).</li><li>Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition methods.</li><li>Proficient problem-solving and analytical abilities.</li><li>Excellent communication and documentation skills.</li></ul>
