In this role, you will take ownership of essential accounting tasks while supporting an organization dedicated to learning and growth. As a Full-Charge Bookkeeper in the education field, you will handle all aspects of financial record-keeping and reporting. From managing payroll and accounts to preparing financial statements, you will ensure the organization’s financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing </li><li>Reconcile bank statements and maintain the general ledger for accurate financial tracking.</li><li>Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, adhering to accounting standards.</li><li>Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures.</li><li>Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies specific to the education industry.</li><li>Collaborate with administrative staff to provide budgeting support and financial advice.</li><li>Monitor all financial transactions and resolve discrepancies and variances.</li><li>Assist with tax filings, audits, and other government reporting.</li><li>Utilize accounting software to maintain an accurate record of financial data.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<ul><li>Proven experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or equivalent role, ideally in the education sector.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems).</li><li>Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with strong understanding of GAAP compliance.</li><li>A detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p>
