We are looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join our client's team in El Cajon, California, on a long-term contract-to-hire basis. Responsibilities:• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.• Prepare and analyze aging reports for fixed assets to maintain proper financial tracking.• Perform month-end close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.• Reconcile corporate credit card statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.• Handle multiple bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.• Collaborate with other teams to support financial operations and reporting.• Gather and organize financial data for reporting and analysis purposes.• Assist in creating detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy across financial systems.• Act as a finance business partner to support organizational goals and objectives.• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role. • Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and account reconciliations. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and journal entries. • Experience with corporate credit card reconciliations. • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
