We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to join our defense-oriented law firm in Edwardsville, Illinois. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse litigation cases and gain hands-on courtroom experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be eager to contribute to high-stakes legal matters across Illinois and Missouri.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Represent clients in defense litigation cases, including personal injury, workers’ compensation, and toxic tort.<br>• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other necessary documents.<br>• Participate in depositions, trials, and hearings within state and federal courts.<br>• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for insurance disputes and motor vehicle accident cases.<br>• Evaluate case details and provide strategic recommendations to clients.<br>• Manage discovery processes, including reviewing and analyzing evidence.<br>• Stay updated on legal developments to ensure effective representation.<br>• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and meticulous conduct.<br>• Work proactively to uphold the firm’s high standards of legal service.<br>• Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing ideas and supporting colleagues.

• Active law license in both Illinois and Missouri.<br>• Minimum of one year of experience in civil litigation or defense litigation.<br>• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and case analysis.<br>• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.<br>• Familiarity with discovery processes and courtroom procedures.<br>• Dedication to growth and collaboration within a team-oriented environment.<br>• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and teamwork.<br>• In good standing with the bar associations of Illinois and Missouri.
