We are looking for a skilled and motivated Attorney to join our reputable mid-sized law firm in Clayton, Missouri. This position focuses on education law and litigation, requiring a proactive individual with a passion for addressing complex legal challenges faced by schools, colleges, and universities. Our firm fosters a collaborative environment and offers opportunities for growth in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating practice.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide legal counsel and representation to educational institutions on matters including employment issues, student discipline, and special education.<br>• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case preparation and client advisory.<br>• Draft and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.<br>• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on litigation strategies and case management.<br>• Respond to administrative agency complaints and manage related filings.<br>• Deliver training sessions and development programs for clients.<br>• Develop and present well-reasoned arguments in written and oral form.<br>• Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively to ensure high-quality legal services.<br>• Engage in problem-solving for day-to-day issues faced by public and private educational institutions.<br>• Maintain effective communication with clients and team members to foster strong working relationships.

• Active attorney license in Missouri; additional licensure in other states is preferred.<br>• Minimum of 2 years of experience in legal practice, preferably in education law, employment law, or public sector law.<br>• Exceptional research and analytical skills to address complex legal issues.<br>• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including public speaking.<br>• Demonstrated ability to develop and present well-reasoned legal arguments.<br>• Proven interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.<br>• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Commitment to maintaining a strong work ethic and delivering quality results.
