<p>Our client is a well-established and growing company in the construction industry seeking a <strong>Senior Accountant</strong> to join their accounting team. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on accounting professional with strong <strong>WIP billing and job costing</strong> experience who is looking for <strong>long-term career growth</strong> within a stable organization.</p><p><br></p><p>This position offers the opportunity to work closely with project teams and leadership while building deep expertise in construction accounting and positioning yourself for future advancement.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Prepare and maintain <strong>Work in Progress (WIP) schedules</strong>, including over/under billings</li><li>Manage <strong>job costing</strong> analysis, project margin tracking, and cost variance reporting</li><li>Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end <strong>close processes</strong></li><li>Review and prepare <strong>progress billings</strong>, change orders, and revenue recognition</li><li>Reconcile project costs, labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses</li><li>Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasts</li><li>Assist with internal controls, process improvements, and system enhancements</li><li>Support audit, tax, and compliance activities as needed</li></ul><p>For immediate consideration call Jimmy Tunney at 517-657-8054</p>

<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li><li>2+ years of accounting experience within construction or project-based environments</li><li>Demonstrated experience with WIP billing and job costing preferred</li><li>Strong understanding of percentage-of-completion accounting</li></ul>
