HR Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Denver, Colorado. This role involves managing seasonal employee documentation, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and supporting onboarding processes. Additionally, the position requires assisting with document conversion tasks to maintain organized and accessible records.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Review and process seasonal employee paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational requirements.<br>• Verify immigration status through E-Verify and perform criminal background checks, including motor vehicle reports and driver safety tests when applicable.<br>• Ensure all necessary documentation, such as Protecting the Mission paperwork, is included and correctly prepared for organizational agendas.<br>• Collaborate with field sites to gather missing information and confirm legibility of submitted documents.<br>• Track and manage employee data in Excel spreadsheets, maintaining accuracy and up-to-date records.<br>• Assist with document conversion by categorizing, scanning, and saving files to shared drives and organizational systems.<br>• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.<br>• Provide support for employee onboarding processes and resolve related inquiries.<br>• Utilize HRIS systems to manage employee records and streamline administrative tasks.
• Proven experience in human resources administration, particularly in onboarding and employee relations.<br>• Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in managing employee data.<br>• Strong knowledge of compliance standards, including HIPAA regulations.<br>• Skilled in using Excel for data tracking and reporting.<br>• Ability to perform background checks and verify immigration status using E-Verify.<br>• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.<br>• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in documentation.<br>• Effective communication skills for collaborating with field sites and addressing inquiries.
