Sr. Paralegal
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Paralegal with extensive experience in litigation to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to work on complex legal cases in a collaborative and detail-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, ensuring smooth case management and exceptional client service.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Support attorneys with all stages of litigation, including case initiation, trial preparation, and post-trial proceedings.<br>• Conduct in-depth legal research and organize case materials such as discovery responses, depositions, and medical records.<br>• Draft and proofread legal documents, including motions, pleadings, subpoenas, and other filings.<br>• Prepare and file legal documents in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with applicable rules and deadlines.<br>• Manage e-discovery processes, including organizing and reviewing large document productions using litigation support software.<br>• Coordinate schedules for depositions, hearings, trials, and meetings with experts and witnesses.<br>• Maintain detailed case files, track important deadlines, and ensure adherence to court schedules.<br>• Provide trial support by preparing exhibits, assembling trial notebooks, and managing logistics.<br>• Travel as needed to assist attorneys during trial preparation and proceedings.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in a law firm environment.<br>• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification from an accredited program is preferred.<br>• Expertise in e-discovery tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.<br>• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex projects and deadlines.<br>• Excellent attention to detail, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.<br>• Prior experience supporting attorneys during trial preparation and proceedings is highly desirable.<br>• Familiarity with corporate governance, commercial litigation, civil litigation, and trial preparation.<br>• Knowledge of entity formation and construction law is a plus.
