We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Commissions Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Coppell, Texas. In this role, you will play a vital part in calculating and managing sales commissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals experienced in accounting and finance to collaborate closely with sales and finance teams.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Extract and analyze sales data from Salesforce to calculate commission payouts.<br>• Compute and validate sales commissions while maintaining detailed and accurate records.<br>• Collaborate with sales and finance departments to ensure commission payments are processed promptly and accurately.<br>• Utilize advanced Excel skills to perform detailed calculations and data analysis.<br>• Develop and maintain a structured process for tracking commission adjustments and discrepancies.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to commission calculations.<br>• Provide regular updates and reporting on commission metrics to stakeholders.<br>• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in commission calculations.<br>• Assist with account reconciliation and related accounting functions as needed.<br>• Support billing functions and ensure alignment with overall financial operations.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.<br>• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in calculating and managing sales commissions.<br>• Proficiency in Salesforce, including navigation and data extraction.<br>• Strong knowledge of Excel, with advanced skills in formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.<br>• Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes.<br>• Experience in account reconciliation and general accounting functions.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.<br>• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
