<p>We are looking for an experienced Application Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will provide strategic technical leadership within an application domain, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture goals and best practices. This position offers an opportunity to design and govern frameworks while driving innovation and consistency across the development community.</p><p><br></p><p>Job Description</p><p>The Application Architect will:</p><ul><li>Provide technical vision and direction within an application domain.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and communicate the application architecture and roadmap.</li><li>Design, document, and govern frameworks/platforms for broader technical use.</li><li>Align architecture strategy with enterprise target state architecture.</li><li>Promote architectural best practices and trends.</li><li>Develop and maintain standards for design, documentation, and communication.</li><li>Conduct product/solution evaluations.</li><li>Mentor technical delivery staff as needed.</li></ul>

<p>Technical Skills</p><p>Must Have:</p><ul><li>Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)</li><li>Excellent analytical and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li></ul><p>Nice to Have:</p><ul><li>2+ years of REST service development experience</li><li>Experience in the banking industry, especially in payments</li></ul>
