Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the business license office during its renewal period. This contract position is based in Columbia, South Carolina, and requires excellent organizational and communication skills to manage high call volumes and administrative tasks effectively. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy contributing to smooth operations, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Handle a high volume of incoming calls, routing them efficiently to the appropriate departments.<br>• Organize and sort incoming mail to ensure timely distribution.<br>• Assist with file organization in preparation for an office relocation, including sorting and labeling files.<br>• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to support administrative functions.<br>• Provide general office support, including data entry and receptionist duties.<br>• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations during the renewal period.<br>• Deliver exceptional customer service to callers and office visitors.<br>• Identify and implement efficient processes to improve administrative workflows.
• Proven experience in administrative assistance or a related role.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and office software applications.<br>• Ability to handle high call volumes professionally and efficiently.<br>• Attention to detail and accuracy in file management and record-keeping.<br>• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.<br>• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
