Human Resources (HR) Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Augusta, Georgia. This role involves supporting key HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high degree of confidentiality.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate and schedule interviews for various roles, including sales and communication positions.<br>• Review and screen resumes to identify candidates with relevant experience for open positions.<br>• Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation and documentation.<br>• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies.<br>• Support administrative HR tasks such as managing employee information systems and payroll tools.<br>• Utilize software tools like Paycor, Employee Navigator, and Asana for efficient HR operations.<br>• Assist with background checks and other pre-employment verification processes.<br>• Prepare and analyze HR-related data using Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.<br>• Communicate effectively with team members and candidates to provide a seamless HR experience.<br>• Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive employee information and adhere to ethical standards.
• Proven experience in human resources administration or a related field.<br>• Familiarity with HR software systems such as Paycor, Employee Navigator, and Asana.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like formulas and pivot tables.<br>• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.<br>• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage with team members and candidates.<br>• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.<br>• Knowledge of onboarding processes and background checks.<br>• Experience in resume screening and interview scheduling is preferred.
