Communication and Design Coordinator
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Communications and Design Coordinator to join a detail-oriented services organization in Chicago, Illinois. This role offers a unique blend of internal communications, design, and event coordination, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in creating engaging content, supporting events, and ensuring that communication strategies are effectively implemented.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop and manage internal communication materials across various platforms, ensuring that all messaging aligns with brand standards and engages the intended audience.<br>• Design and refine PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, intranet posts, and printed materials to support internal teams and leadership.<br>• Assist in planning and executing membership events and conferences, including creating marketing campaigns, printed collateral, and presentation materials.<br>• Work closely with stakeholders to craft compelling copy and visuals that bring ideas to life and meet organizational goals.<br>• Provide backup support for high-priority design projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.<br>• Maintain internal systems and platforms, contributing to communication plans for strategic initiatives.<br>• Coordinate the creation of event-related materials, providing on-site support when needed to ensure smooth execution.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance communication strategies and ensure consistency across all channels.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, graphic design, marketing, or a related field.<br>• Strong ability to write, edit, and transform content into visually compelling formats.<br>• Proven experience in supporting events or presentations, including preparation of materials and providing on-site assistance.<br>• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.<br>• Proficiency in creating and executing communication plans that align with organizational objectives.<br>• Familiarity with corporate communication tools and platforms, ensuring seamless integration and usage.<br>• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different levels to deliver impactful content and visuals.
