We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Chatsworth, California. This role will focus on overseeing financial accounting processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-entity accounting, partnership structures, and technical accounting standards.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and financial statement preparation.<br>• Prepare and oversee consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy in intercompany eliminations across subsidiaries and partnerships.<br>• Maintain compliance with technical accounting standards and regulatory requirements, including revenue recognition, inventory valuation, and cost accounting.<br>• Coordinate accounting for multi-state partnerships, including partner capital accounts, equity rollforwards, and K-1 issuance.<br>• Ensure compliance with state-specific accounting regulations and excise reporting requirements.<br>• Oversee inventory accounting processes, including standard costing, shrink calculations, and consumption tracking.<br>• Develop and execute strategies to streamline financial workflows, optimize systems, and enhance reporting accuracy.<br>• Lead external and internal audits while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific regulations.<br>• Provide financial insights and modeling to support strategic initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions or business expansions.<br>• Manage and mentor accounting staff, supporting growth and high-quality performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<br>• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in multi-entity and multi-state organizational structures.<br>• Expertise in U.S. GAAP, technical accounting standards, and financial statement preparation.<br>• Proficiency in partnership accounting, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations.<br>• Advanced skills in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including modeling and complex functions.<br>• Industry experience in food, beverage, tobacco, or similarly regulated environments.<br>• Strong leadership capabilities with proven experience managing teams and meeting deadlines.<br>• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
