We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Monrovia, California. This role involves managing key accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. If you have a strong background in accounting processes and thrive in a detail-oriented environment, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee the month-end closing processes, ensuring all necessary adjustments and reports are completed accurately.<br>• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring entries align with company policies and accounting standards.<br>• Prepare and review journal entries to support accurate financial documentation.<br>• Reconcile accounts and perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.<br>• Analyze financial discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.<br>• Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and reporting.<br>• Assist in preparing reports and documentation for audits or compliance reviews.<br>• Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company guidelines at all times.<br>• Monitor and improve accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger and month-end processes.<br>• Strong proficiency in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.<br>• Demonstrated expertise in bank reconciliation and financial statement preparation.<br>• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.<br>• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.<br>• Proficient in accounting software and tools.<br>• Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting financial information.
