Sr. Accountant
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role requires a highly skilled individual with a strong background in accounting processes and financial management. The ideal candidate should be prepared to take ownership of accounts receivable duties and other key accounting functions.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timely completion.<br>• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are properly recorded.<br>• Prepare and post journal entries to reflect accurate financial data.<br>• Conduct account reconciliations to verify balances and identify discrepancies.<br>• Perform bank reconciliations to confirm transactions and resolve variances.<br>• Manage accounts receivable tasks, including tracking invoices and payments.<br>• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting procedures and workflows.<br>• Generate financial reports to support decision-making and compliance.<br>• Provide insights on financial trends and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience.<br>• Strong expertise in month-end close activities and general ledger management.<br>• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.<br>• Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately.<br>• Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices.<br>• Experience with financial reporting and analysis.<br>• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
