We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting employees and collaborating with management on a variety of HR functions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in human resources practices and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to a fast-paced work environment. This position is onsite Monday to Friday.Responsibilities: • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and offer letters.• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new team members and departing employees.• Manage bi-weekly payroll processing accurately and efficiently.• Administer employee benefits programs and provide guidance to staff on benefits-related inquiries.• Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and company policies.• Handle employee relations matters, addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues.• Conduct employee training sessions, including orientations for new team members and ongoing development initiatives.• Utilize human resource information systems (HRIS) to maintain accurate employee records and generate reports.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HR needs and develop effective solutions.• Support performance management processes, including evaluations and goal setting

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with a strong generalist background.• Need to have full cycle human resource experience- payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, compliance, employee relations and employee trainings. • Prior experience working within an HRIS system, experience using Paylocity before is a big plus.• Need to have prior payroll experience • Need to have benefits administration experience • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems, such as Paylocity.• Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle recruitment processes.• Strong skills in benefits administration and employee relations.• Prior experience working with vendors • Can work independently and is a fast learner.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
