<p>We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented <strong>Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist</strong> for a <strong>temp-to-hire</strong> opportunity in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be experienced in managing AR processes, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation. <strong>Proficiency with QuickBooks OR Sage</strong> is required to succeed in this role. This position offers the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare, issue, and follow up on customer invoices to ensure timely payments.</li><li>Post daily cash receipts and reconcile balances with accounting records.</li><li>Monitor aging reports and proactively contact customers regarding outstanding payments via phone and email.</li><li>Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to billing, payment allocations, and customer accounts.</li><li>Maintain accurate and organized AR records and ensure compliance with company policies.</li><li>Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., sales, operations) to address customer inquiries.</li><li>Support the month-end close process by providing timely AR-related reports and reconciliations.</li><li>Assist with audit and compliance requests related to accounts receivable.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Experience:</strong> Proven experience in AR processes, collections, and account reconciliations.</li><li><strong>Software Proficiency:</strong> Skilled in <strong>QuickBooks OR Sage</strong> accounting software.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage customer relationships and internal collaboration.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications.</li><li>Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies efficiently.</li><li>Highly organized and able to handle a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity with AR practices in industries such as construction, healthcare, manufacturing, or real estate.</li><li>Experience working with ERP systems or other accounting tools is a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to pass a <strong>background check</strong> prior to starting employment.</li><li>This is a <strong>temp-to-hire</strong> position, providing potential for long-term employment based on performance.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation and Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive hourly pay based on experience during the temporary period.</li><li>Access to Robert Half's extensive resources and support while in the temp role.</li><li>Potential for full-time employment with benefits upon successful transition.</li></ul><p><br></p>
