We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Cerritos, California. This position offers a long-term contract opportunity for a highly organized individual with strong financial reporting and analysis skills. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial statements, managing general ledger activities, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.<br>• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual results and budgeted forecasts.<br>• Develop supporting schedules and provide insights to assist with management reporting.<br>• Ensure financial reporting aligns with applicable accounting standards and organizational policies.<br>• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure account accuracy and completeness.<br>• Post recurring and adjusting journal entries, including accruals and prepaid expenses.<br>• Support month-end and year-end closing processes to meet reporting deadlines.<br>• Process vendor invoices and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.<br>• Assist with customer billing and collections while monitoring accounts for overdue balances.<br>• Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting by gathering financial data and preparing revenue and expense projections.

• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.<br>• Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and reconciliation.<br>• Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.<br>• Experience in account reconciliation and bank reconciliations.<br>• Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes.<br>• Advanced analytical skills for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.<br>• Strong communication skills to effectively present financial insights and collaborate with teams.
