Accounting Manager
<p>Our client is seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to lead a team responsible for financial operations across multiple business units. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence.</p><p>Role Overview:</p><p>The Accounting Manager will oversee daily financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves managing team performance, supporting strategic initiatives, and partnering with internal stakeholders to meet organizational goals.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>Team Leadership & Development</p><ul><li>Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and accountability.</li><li>Collaborate with senior leadership to shape departmental strategy and future direction.</li><li>Manage staffing needs, performance evaluations, and employee development.</li><li>Build strong relationships across departments to support business objectives.</li></ul><p>Operational Oversight</p><ul><li>Supervise daily accounting workflows including reconciliations, general ledger management, and reporting.</li><li>Monitor productivity and service levels, using data to guide decisions and improvements.</li><li>Resolve escalated issues and identify trends for proactive solutions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.</li><li>Support multiple product lines with varying systems and complexity.</li><li>Maintain and update departmental policies and procedures.</li></ul><p>Reporting & Budget Management</p><ul><li>Create and maintain reporting tools to support leadership visibility and strategic planning.</li><li>Oversee budget-related activities such as payroll and overtime tracking.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
<p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.</li><li>5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations.</li><li>3+ years of leadership experience in a finance or accounting setting.</li><li>Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex workflows.</li></ul><p><br></p>
