Receptionist
We are looking for a skilled Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Camden, New Jersey. This role will require you to create a welcoming environment for visitors, manage front desk operations efficiently, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to handling various clerical tasks.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring an attentive and friendly atmosphere at the front desk.<br>• Answer and direct incoming calls promptly to the appropriate departments or individuals.<br>• Maintain and organize front desk areas, ensuring they are tidy and functional.<br>• Provide administrative and clerical support to staff, including scheduling and document management.<br>• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, distributing mail and packages as needed.<br>• Assist in coordinating appointments and meetings as required.<br>• Ensure the reception area is stocked with supplies and materials.<br>• Address inquiries from visitors and callers with accurate and helpful information.<br>• Monitor and manage office equipment at the front desk to ensure proper operation.
• Proven experience in receptionist or administrative roles.<br>• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with visitors and staff.<br>• Proficiency in answering and directing calls using multi-line phone systems.<br>• Ability to manage clerical tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Familiarity with office software, including word processing and email applications.<br>• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.<br>• Detail-oriented approach and appearance suitable for a front desk role.
