Financial Analyst
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join a higher education institution based out of Cambridge, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position offers a hybrid working model, blending onsite and remote work. The role involves supporting financial operations within the education sector, focusing on account reconciliation, budgeting, and system management. This position requires an onsite commitment of 3 days a week, hours are 9am- 5pm. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Perform accurate account reconciliations to ensure financial records align with company standards.</p><p>• Manage daily financial operations, including processing accounts payable invoices and onboarding vendors.</p><p>• Verify and reconcile credit card transactions and assist with travel expense reports.</p><p>• Prepare detailed budget reports and monitor revenue performance to support organizational goals.</p><p>• Facilitate onboarding processes for financial systems such as Coupa and ensure system efficiency.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to oversee key card verifications and maintain compliance.</p><p>• Analyze revenues and expenditures to identify trends and optimize financial decisions.</p><p>• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and maintain organized financial documentation.</p>
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.<br>• Proficiency in financial systems, with a strong ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.<br>• Demonstrated expertise in account reconciliation and revenue recognition.<br>• Familiarity with tools like Coupa and Concur for managing invoices and travel reports.<br>• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial reporting.<br>• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hybrid work environment.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.<br>• Experience in the education or non-profit sector is advantageous.
